When do lessons take place with the INTENSIVE COURSES?

Lessons start on Monday and finish on Friday (if Monday is a public holiday, the first lesson takes place on the first following working day, e.g., Tuesday). Lessons take place between 9:30 and 13:10, or from 14:30 to 16:10, depending on the weekly schedule (communicated every Monday morning, after the Entry Test made for new students).

What happens if the week includes non-working days (holidays with INTENSIVE COURSES)?

Why an Entry Test?

With the Intensive Courses (Weekly and Monthly), On line and the Foreign Residents’ Courses an Entrance Test is included.

This is how School Versilia verifies the students’ real Italian language level of knowledge: new members will make a written Test, in order to assess their actual knowledge of the language and the inclusion in the class of the correct level.

Does anyone have to make the Entry Test?

No, only students signed to an Intensive Courses (Weekly or Monthly), On Line and Foreign Residents’ Courses need to make the Entry Test.

Also students who already possess an Official Certificate of Italian Language Proficiency (or start from A0 level, Absolute Beginners), can skip the Test: in this case, they will be directly assigned to the classroom of the following level (or to the A0 Level classroom, if Absolute Beginners).
